Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Room RN with a MA license and recent ER experience for an evening shift position.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Care for a diverse population of acute and critical patients
• Evening shift schedule: three 12-hour shifts per week, 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM
• Required to work every other weekend and holiday
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment
• Perform ongoing assessments and interventions for a variety of emergency cases
• Holiday rotations are required as part of the schedule
• Applicants with prior issues on their nursing license are not eligible for consideration

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent ER experience
• Two professional references required for consideration, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher
• Must pass an EKG test as part of the screening process
• Candidates must reside at least 200 miles from the facility to be eligible for consideration
