Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications and at least two years of ER experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Emergency Department of a hospital with a 15-room ER and additional RME space
• Facility sees approximately 100 patients per day in the ER
• Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
• Unit supported by 24/7 RT, ER providers, and a hospitalist team
• Facility includes 13 bed ICU, MS, PCU, Acute Rehab, and Level 2 OB
• Responsible for the care and treatment of all patients in the Emergency Department
• Team-oriented unit with continuous support from ER physicians, rapid response, and hospitalists
• No COVID vaccination required as of July 1, 2023
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate in accordance with facility radius rules
• All positions are offered automatically upon qualification
• Specific documentation required for consideration includes two references and a copy of a driver's license

Requirements

• Active IN or compact state RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current AHA certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• Valid TNCC and NIH certifications are required and must be current
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training (CPI) required, updated every 2 years
• Must provide Nursys verification and license verification within 30 days prior to start
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and a US home address
