Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift travel assignment in a dynamic, high-acuity setting with a locked behavioral health unit in Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital serving a diverse patient population
• Night shift position with 4x12 hour shifts, 6:45PM to 7:15AM; preference for candidates open to 48 hours per week but 36 hours will be considered
• Care for all ages, predominantly adults, with occasional pediatric patients
• Includes coverage for a 12-bed locked behavioral health unit
• High-acuity, fast-paced environment
• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients of all ages, including behavioral health cases
• Collaborate with a supportive team in a community-focused hospital
• First-time travelers with the required experience are welcome to apply
• Scrub or dress code requirements are not specified

Requirements

• Active MA RN license or eligibility for emergency MA license
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI (CPI training available on site)
• Minimum 2 years of recent emergency department RN experience
• At least 1 prior travel RN assignment completed; first-time travelers with 2 years of experience in a large ED will be considered
