Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a VA or compact RN license and a minimum of 12 months recent experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit of a community hospital
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Epic EMR system is used and experience is required
• Locals are accepted at the same rate
• New travelers considered with at least 2 years of experience
• Community hospital experience is preferred
• Facility is a drug and tobacco free workplace and does not permit smoking on campus
• Must adhere to the hospital's natural nail policy
• Must provide two professional references from supervisors or above
• Schedules may require coverage during holidays
• Time-off requests must be included for consideration
• New travelers with required experience are welcome to apply
• ER and Psych candidates require fingerprinting prior to start

Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license
• Minimum of 12 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (ACEN or CCNE accreditation accepted); diploma, Associates, or BSN accepted
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must not have been an employee of the health system within the previous 6-12 months
• BSN preferred
