Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 1 year of cardiac cath lab experience and active ARRT, BLS, and ACLS certifications for a 13-week assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a busy hospital cardiac catheterization lab
• Daily caseload of 10-15 cases, including CAD, PAD, STEMI, NSTEMI, cardiac arrhythmias, and neuro (stroke) procedures
• Preferred experience with neuro and interventional radiology procedures
• Day shift, 4x10 hours per week, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Call required every third or fourth weekend for STEMI and neuro, and 5-6 weeknight shifts per 4-week schedule
• Uses Epic EMR for charting
• First-time travelers and local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Previous employees must have been separated from the health system for at least 1 year to be eligible
• Scrub attire required per department guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year recent experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Active ARRT, BLS, and ACLS certifications required
• Cardiac cath lab experience required; neuro and interventional radiology experience preferred
• Active NJ or Compact license required at time of consideration (license required if applicable)
