Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Telemetry position requiring a GA or compact RN license and at least 18 months of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is on the Med/Surg Telemetry unit on the third floor
• Hospital setting with a combined medical-surgical and telemetry patient population
• Night shift, 12-hour schedule
• No on-call required
• Responsible for caring for medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Strict time off (RTO) policies: maximum of 5 days off unless near a holiday (3 days maximum), and only one holiday request allowed
• First-time travelers are eligible to apply unless otherwise stated
• Holiday requests are limited and several consecutive days off during holiday periods will not be approved

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum of 18 months of recent RN experience in a similar setting
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; locals are not eligible
• Former staff must be separated for one year before returning to the health system, and 18 months before returning to the same facility
