Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 2 years of acute care experience and a current license for a 13-week day shift contract.

Responsibilities

• Position is in an acute care setting
• Day shifts, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• 13-week contract assignment
• Uses Cerner for electronic medical records
• Orientation provided with 12 hours of training
• Candidates must not have been employed by related facilities within the past year
• Compliance with facility dress code is required
• Specific radius rules apply for certain states, using permanent address as determined by driver’s license

Requirements

• Active state or compact (NLC) Occupational Therapist license required, pending licenses not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of recent occupational therapy experience
• Current BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Copy of driver's license must be provided for consideration
• Two professional references are required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility
