Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a TX or compact license and advanced certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department (ER) setting
• Cares for a diverse emergency patient population
• Alternating 36/48 hour work weeks, evening shift (13:00–01:00)
• 84 hours scheduled biweekly
• 13-week contract assignment
• Must provide emergency care and respond to critical patient needs
• All required certifications must be provided prior to consideration
• Assignment does not accept first-time travelers

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum 3 years of ER experience preferred
• Candidates with 2 years of ER experience will be considered if experience includes high volume or trauma facility
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
• At least 2 recent supervisory references from the past 3 years are required for consideration
• No first-time travelers accepted
