Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Occupational Therapist with 3 to 5 years of experience and current Ohio licensure for a full-time day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Outpatient occupational therapy department
  • Full-time position working Monday through Friday
  • Work hours are scheduled between 7:30am and 6:00pm
  • Serve a diverse patient population with various physical, educational, and psychosocial needs
  • Evaluate, assess, and provide treatment for patients with a variety of disabilities
  • Responsible for documentation and delivering patient and family education
  • Supervise COTA/L, volunteers, or students according to OT regulations
  • Must provide two professional references for consideration
  • PDF copies of driver’s license and Social Security card required for compliance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy required; Master’s preferred
  • Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy required
  • Current Ohio OT license required if applicable
  • 3 to 5 years of occupational therapy experience preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications such as Outlook, Excel, and Word
