Job Description

American Traveler seeks an experienced OR RN with CA licensure and expertise in both circulating and scrubbing for various surgical specialties.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a hospital operating room setting
  • Patient population includes orthopedic, ENT, ophthalmology, general surgery, endo/lap, GYN, plastics, and podiatry cases
  • 10-hour day shifts, four days per week
  • Shift times are 6:45 to 17:15
  • Floating to other units and facilities is required
  • Responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing for a variety of surgical specialties
  • Must be able to manage airways in complex surgical scenarios
  • Team-based environment with collaboration among multiple surgical disciplines

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required
  • AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • PDRN certification required
  • Minimum of 3 years OR nursing experience
  • Proficiency in both circulating and scrubbing roles
  • Experience in orthopedic (joints), ENT, ophthalmology, general, endo/lap, GYN, plastics, and podiatry cases
  • Knowledge of airway management and aseptic technique is required
