Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Critical Care Unit position in New York requiring an active NY RN license, EMR Epic experience, and at least 2 years of recent specialty experience.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based Progressive Critical Care Unit
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Uses Epic EMR and Epic experience is required
• No blocked scheduling permitted
• Call outs exceeding 3 within a 13-week assignment result in contract termination, and any missed shifts must be made up within 6 weeks

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in progressive critical care or similar specialty
• BLS and any required certifications must be from AHA or RQI
• Epic EMR experience is required for all candidates
• No employment gaps of 90 days or greater in the past 12 months
• US SSN required; Canadian SINs are not accepted
• Medical exemption for flu vaccination must be signed by a licensed professional; personal or religious declinations are not accepted

Additional Information

• Competency testing is required for all ICU assignments, with up to two attempts to pass
• Candidates must not reside within 50 miles of the following NY counties: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington
• No travel pairs allowed for this assignment
• RTO (Requested Time Off) must be submitted with application
• Travelers may only apply to one position at a time
