Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) day shift position in Maine, requiring a ME or compact RN license and at least 2 years of PACU experience.

Responsibilities

Position is in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) within a hospital's perioperative department
Day shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Care for patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical procedures
May be required to float to other facilities within a 25-mile radius as needed
No travel pairs or groups are allowed for this position
Candidates located within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility (ME or NH residents) will be considered local
Returning employees must not have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months
Floating between facilities may be required according to the 25-mile float policy

Requirements

Active ME or compact state RN license
Minimum 2 years of PACU RN experience
Current Driver’s License required for consideration
