Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist with current ARRT, BLS, and New Jersey RT license to join a hospital-based radiology team with floating required.

Responsibilities

• Work is in a hospital-based radiology department
• Day shift, Monday through Friday, start times will vary between 7:30 AM and 9:30 AM
• Eight-hour shifts, five days per week, 40 hours per week
• Patient population includes inpatients and outpatients requiring radiology imaging
• Use of a variety of imaging equipment for diagnostic procedures
• Epic EMR is used for documentation and charting
• Floating to nearby sister hospital sites is required
• Perform diagnostic radiology imaging and ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety guidelines
• Maintain and care for imaging equipment and monitor patient physical and physiological comfort
• Must coordinate and revise daily imaging procedures as needed
• No local candidates accepted; candidates must live more than 50 miles from facility
• Radiology Technologists may float to sister hospital locations as part of their routine assignment
• Dress code and scrubs policy will be clarified during orientation
• Assignment duration capped at one calendar year; 30 to 60 day break required before returning

Requirements

• Current ARRT certification required
• Active NJ State Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable
• BLS certification required
• Graduate of an accredited Radiography program
• Proficient in use, setup, and basic troubleshooting of various imaging equipment
