Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist with at least 3 years of surgery and diagnostic imaging experience for weekend and floating weekday assignments.
Responsibilities
- Work primarily in hospital radiology departments with responsibilities at two locations
- Weekend schedule of 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM on Saturday and Sunday in Indianapolis
- Float to Carmel Orthopedic location for two 8-hour weekday shifts, schedule depends on surgery requirements
- Eligible for low-volume weekday on-call at Carmel; no weekend call duties
- Patient population is mixed and includes surgical and diagnostic imaging cases
- Equipment used includes Siemens, OEC, GE, Carestream, and AIRO CT systems
- EPIC EMR system is used
- Rotation between facilities is required but not on the same day
- Primary duties include performing diagnostic imaging and surgery/OR procedures, including stationary fluoroscopy for arthrograms
- Scrub color required is grey; hoodies and crocs are not acceptable attire
- Personality fit includes working independently, being a team player, and demonstrating compassion
- Some after-hours call is required at Carmel location during weekdays
- All candidates must pass EKG testing as part of the onboarding process, with up to two attempts allowed
- Local candidates are permitted but are subject to a reduced rate if within a 50-mile radius
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in surgery/OR and diagnostic imaging
- Current BLS certification required
- ISDH license and ARRT accreditation required; license required if applicable
- Experience with stationary fluoroscopy procedures for arthrograms
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to float between Indianapolis and Carmel locations
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past year
- US Social Security Number required for consideration
