Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Stepdown position on nights, requiring a WV or compact license and EPIC proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Position is located in a hospital acute care setting on a Stepdown unit
• Patient population consists of stepdown-level acuity
• 12-hour night shifts (7pm-7:30am) with weekends and holidays as scheduled
• Uses the EPIC EMR system
• Assignment is for 13 weeks
• Candidates must complete required EKG testing if applicable to this unit
• Unit may have specific requirements that will be communicated prior to start
• Candidates are expected to cover holidays as scheduled
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Scrub color or dress code requirements will be provided prior to assignment

Requirements

• Active WV or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience
• Current BLS certification required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a traveler
• Previous employees of the facility or system must not have worked in any capacity for the past 2 years
