Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an LTACH Med Surg/ICU position requiring a KY or compact RN license and a background in long-term acute care.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) on a combined Med Surg and ICU unit
  • Patient ratio is 1:4
  • Utilizes Meditech EMR system
  • Schedule is 07:00-19:30 with a 36/48 hour rotation over the two-week pay period
  • 13-week assignment
  • Orientation is offered bi-weekly
  • Traveler is not permitted to work as part of a travel pair unless exceptions are specifically approved
  • Local candidates are not accepted due to the 100-mile radius rule

Requirements

  • Active KY or compact RN license required
  • Minimum of two years recent LTACH nursing experience required
  • Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
  • Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered
