Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an outpatient role serving a diverse adult population with a strong productivity requirement.
Responsibilities
- Outpatient therapy setting with patient populations including geriatric, post-operative, vestibular, and worker's compensation cases
- Expectation to treat 12-14 patients per day with some double-booked follow-up visits
- Productivity target of 60 visits per week
- 8-hour day shifts with up to 40 hours per week
- Floating required to other area clinics as needed, including Uptown, Gentilly, Lakeview, and Metairie locations
- No on-call responsibilities
- Responsibilities include delivering therapy services and ensuring productivity expectations are met
- Work primarily with adult and geriatric patients in a collaborative, multi-clinic team environment
- Must be able to float to multiple area clinics as needed
- Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a local rate
- Specific attire or dress code policy not specified
Requirements
- Current state PT license required if applicable
- Minimum of recent outpatient therapy experience preferred
- New graduates and first-time travelers are not accepted
- Ability to manage a high patient volume and double bookings
