Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a skilled RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a PA or compact license and current ACLS, PALS, and NIH certifications.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital Emergency Department (ER) setting
Rotating 12-hour shifts including days (7:00-19:00), evenings (11:00-23:30), and nights (19:00-7:30)
Required to work every other weekend
No floating required outside of the Emergency Department
Uses Cerner EMR system
Candidates must complete PA fingerprinting and Childline processes promptly after contract signing
Lab work required within 72 hours of contract signing
Specific instructions for credentialing provided after offer
Rotating shifts will typically change every 4-6 weeks

Requirements

Active PA or compact RN license required
Certifications required: CPR, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale
Trauma nursing experience preferred
Must live more than 75 miles from the facility
