Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a float position covering Med/Surg Telemetry and PCU with a focus on cardiac care and Epic proficiency.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital setting, floating between Med/Surg Telemetry and Progressive Care Unit
Cares for cardiac, post-cath, and telemetry patient populations
Expected to work night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
Weekend shifts required, specifically every other Friday and Saturday night
13-week contract assignment
Epic EMR experience is required
Responsible for comprehensive nursing care of cardiac and telemetry patients
Must provide care across multiple units based on staffing needs
Current ACLS certification must be demonstrated as used in prior roles
First-time travelers are accepted
Orientation and support are provided by the hospital team

Requirements

Active RI or compact RN license
Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry and cardiac care experience
Experience caring for post-cath and cardiac patients in PCU environments
Proficiency with Epic charting system
