Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position on a rotating 12-hour shift, requiring a valid MA RN license and adherence to a 50-mile radius rule.

Responsibilities

• Position is on the Derenzo Patient Care Unit (Inpatient Services) in a hospital setting
• Medical-surgical unit with telemetry monitoring responsibilities
• Assignment is 13 weeks in length
• 12-hour rotating shifts
• Candidates may be required to complete additional training modules as part of onboarding
• Medical exemptions for vaccine requirements are allowed
• First-time travelers are not specified as accepted or not
• Holiday and weekend coverage expectations are not explicitly stated and may be required

Requirements

• Active MA RN license must be in hand for consideration
• Current required certifications including proof of Flu vaccination during flu season
• COVID vaccine and booster required (medical exemptions permitted)
• Must live at least 50 miles away from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Previous employees (Travel, Perm, Per Diem) must have a 6-month break before returning
• Pass/fail competency testing in Telemetry/ECG and medication required
