Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a day shift position requiring an active California license and 2+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Work across inpatient, swing bed, outpatient, and skilled nursing settings
• Day shift schedule
• Rehabilitation therapy modalities
• Diverse patient caseload including acute care and skilled nursing
• Assess patients, develop treatment plans, and implement therapy to improve independence and quality of life
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to independently manage diverse caseloads
• RTO is not approved unless specified in the offer
• Candidates should demonstrate a compassionate, patient-centered care approach
• Commitment to professional growth and learning is encouraged

Requirements

• Active California Occupational Therapist license in good standing (license required if applicable)
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Minimum 2 years of experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or outpatient settings
• Current AHA Healthcare Provider BLS certification
• Proficiency with EMR documentation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
