Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 35-bed Oncology Unit providing chemotherapy and general med/surg care, requiring a KS or compact RN license and AHA BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Position is in a 35-bed hospital Oncology Unit with active chemotherapy and general med/surg overflow
Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
Patient population includes oncology and med/surg overflow
Assignment length is 13 weeks
Role involves caring for oncology and general medical surgical patients, administering chemotherapy, and managing overflow cases
All candidates must follow facility’s local radius rule; local candidates accepted at a reduced rate
COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this position
All positions are auto offer
Time off requests should be included with application
Extension discussions should begin 45 days before end of assignment

Requirements

Active KS or compact RN license required
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Nursys license verification must be completed within 30 days prior to start
Minimum 1 year of relevant RN experience required
US Social Security Number and US address required
NIH Certification and MOAB De-escalation Training preferred
Copy of Driver’s License required for consideration
Two professional references required

Pros

Sebrona was so helpful and quick to respond. She is kind and patient. She was able to get me the job I wanted with excellent pay. After she done her part she continued to check in with me to see how the compliance part was going. I felt comfortable with asking her questions even though it wasn’t the department she worked in. She would reach out to others and get the answer or be sure they contacted me.
