Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position caring for pulmonary and medical overflow patients, requiring an active IN or compact RN license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in a medical surgical unit with 22 beds
• Care for pulmonary and medical overflow patients
• Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4-5
• Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
• 13-week contract assignment
• Must provide a copy of driver’s license for consideration
• Two professional references are required
• Skills checklist and cert/license verification needed for consideration
• Local candidates are accepted but are subject to a different pay rate based on facility radius rules
• COVID vaccination is not required for this assignment
• Only one position may be held with Ascension system-wide at a time

Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification from AHA is required
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Nursys license verification and primary source verification completed within 30 days prior to start
• Must provide US Social Security Number and US home address
