Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring Oregon licensure, night shifts, and expertise in both labor and postpartum care.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based Labor and Delivery unit
• Care for patients in labor, delivery, and postpartum
• Night shift schedule: 3x12 hour shifts, 19:00-07:30
• Must work a minimum of every other weekend or 8 weekend shifts
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating may be required to a low risk family birthing unit at the northern campus within scope
• Must adhere to AWHONN staffing standards
• Uses Epic EMR; Epic experience is preferred but not required
• Staffs with break RNs and resource RNs
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• RTO (requested time off) is restricted to a maximum of 7 days
• Must be willing to float to designated locations within scope as needed
• Supportive team environment with break and resource nurses on shift

Requirements

• Active OR RN license required at time of submission
• At least 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience including postpartum
• Certifications required: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, NRP
• Must demonstrate proficiency with AWHONN staffing standards
• Epic experience preferred
• Not accepting candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility; proof of address required
• Pending licenses will not be considered
