Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift position requiring a NJ or compact RN license and 1-2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a hospital setting
Night shifts are 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Patient ratio is 1:4
Floating required to units of equal or lesser acuity
Uses Epic charting system
Weekend coverage required every other weekend if needed
No travel pairs or groups are accepted for this assignment
Up to 3 days of requested time off (RTO) will be approved automatically
No RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Requirements

Active NJ or compact RN license required
At least 1-2 years of PCU RN experience required
Epic charting experience preferred
No local candidates within 50 miles accepted
Former permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
