Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with a current NY license for a Telemetry position on the Vascular M5 unit with required EPIC experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Vascular M5 telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Day shift from 07:00 to 19:00
• Thirteen-week assignment
• No local candidates allowed from specific counties within a 50-mile radius
• Must have previous experience with EPIC EMR
• Competency testing may be required; two attempts allowed
• Candidates must submit all time off requests when applying
• More than three call outs in a 13-week period may result in contract termination; make up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks
• Blocked scheduling not permitted
• Travel pairs are not allowed
• Must wear scrubs as required

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
• A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in telemetry nursing
• BLS certification required from AHA or RQI
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the last 12 months
• EPIC EMR proficiency required
• US Social Security Number required; Canadian SIN not accepted
• Medical documentation for flu vaccine exemption must be signed by a licensed professional
