Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position in New York requiring a current NY RN license and EPIC EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
• Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• EPIC EMR is used and prior experience with EPIC is required
• No blocked scheduling is permitted
• More than 3 call outs in a 13 week period may result in contract termination and make-up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks
• Travelers may not reside in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties
• Request for time off must be included at submission
• Travel pairs are not allowed for this assignment
• Must complete all required competency testing as directed
• Travelers may only submit to one position at a time

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience required
• Certifications must be from AHA or RQI
• Experience with EPIC EMR required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required (Canadian SIN not accepted)
• Medical exemption for flu vaccination must be signed by a licensed professional; no personal or religious exemptions accepted
