Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with ARRT MR, ARRT R, BLS certification, and 1+ years of Epic EMR experience for a split-site day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

Work includes Thursdays and Fridays at an adult acute care hospital and Saturdays at a second adult care facility
Covers departments including adult acute care, adult ICU, adult outpatient, and ER/trauma
Patient population is primarily adult
Equipment used includes Philips and Siemens MRI machines
Requires proficiency with the Epic EMR system
Day shift: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week
Potential floating to other qualified units or campuses as needed within the health system
Will perform MRI procedures on adult patients in both acute and outpatient settings
Must wear hunter green scrubs while on duty
Assigned shifts may require working at two different hospital campuses each week
Candidates must demonstrate flexibility to float between units as requested based on needs
This position has strict radius rules; candidates within 50 miles are not eligible for consideration

Requirements

Current ARRT MR and ARRT R certifications required
Active state license required if applicable
Current BLS certification required
Minimum of 1 year of recent MRI technologist experience
Minimum of 1 year Epic EMR experience required
Experience in adult acute care, ICU, outpatient, and ER/trauma settings required
Must provide two professional references for consideration
Valid driver’s license and required documentation must be submitted
Applicants must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
