Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring a NH or compact license and strong ICU background.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in a hospital setting
• Night shifts with day shift orientation required
• Focus on high-acuity patients, including those with medical-surgical and telemetry needs
• Responsibilities include caring for critically ill patients and managing acute changes in condition
• No local candidates will be considered
• A maximum of 5 days of requested time off is allowed
• Requested time off must be included at the time of application
• Submission requires all current certifications and licensure documentation

Requirements

• Active NH or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience
• Current AHA certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Experience caring for high acuity MS/Tele patients strongly preferred
• Travel nursing experience is strongly encouraged
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
