Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Long Term Care position in Hawaii with varied shifts and a Hawaii RN license requirement.

Responsibilities

• Work in a long term care facility located on a hospital campus
• Varied 8-hour shifts including days, evenings, and nights
• Shifts may include weekends and holidays
• Overtime rotation may be required
• No guarantee of specific hours or shift preference
• Duties include patient assessments, treatments, and medication administration
• Perform gastrostomy tube care, urinary catheter care, nebulizer treatments, wound vac care, and CPAP care
• Responsible for notifications to MD/NP, patient admitting and discharging, and ADL assistance
• Must arrive the Friday before the Monday start for mandatory employee health and HR clearance
• All compliance documents must be completed and uploaded at least one week prior to the start date

Requirements

• Active Hawaii RN license required by assignment start date
• Minimum of 2 years recent nursing experience required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification required
• Must have license available for employee health/HR clearance appointment
