Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of acute care experience, ARRT, BLS, and a California Radiologic Technologist license for a night shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Position is in an acute care hospital radiology department
• Trauma level 2 setting with adult and geriatric patients
• Night shifts with 10-hour shifts starting at 3:00 AM, 5:00 AM, or 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required and first to float as needed
• Uses Carestream and Canon imaging equipment
• Duties include work in ER, OR (C-arm), and portable radiography
• Cerner is the EMR system used in this setting; experience preferred
• Candidates must not have been directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities in the past year
• Two professional references required: one supervisor reference from within the last 12 months, and one peer or supervisor reference from within the last 3 years, including employment dates and eligibility for rehire
• Copy of driver’s license required for consideration
• Orientation is 12 hours
• Night shift rotations require every other weekend
• Travelers should be prepared to float within the hospital as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Radiology Technologist in an acute care environment
• Active CA Radiologic Technologist license, ARRT (R), and BLS certification are required
• Current fluoroscopy permit required
• Experience with Carestream and Canon imaging systems
• Demonstrated experience in ER, OR with C-arm, and portable radiography
• License required if applicable
