Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with at least one year of experience and ARRT-MRI certification for a variable 10-hour shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a medical imaging MRI unit
• Utilizes Siemens MRI equipment and prefers experience with Phillips machines
• Work schedule consists of 10-hour variable shifts
• 40 hours per week with weekend rotation and call required, both discussed during interview
• No floating to other units is required
• Uses Epic charting system, experience preferred
• Adult patient population
• Weekend technologists may work independently
• Two-week orientation provided
• Holiday and call expectations will be discussed during interview
• Travelers are welcomed and frequently offered contract renewals
• Black scrubs are required
• Free parking available
• First-time travelers are accepted

Requirements

• One year or more of MRI technologist experience required
• ARRT-MRI and BLS certifications required
• Proficiency with Siemens MRI equipment is required; Phillips experience is preferred
• IV skills required; pacemaker and cardiac MRI experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• Cannot be considered if residing within 100 miles of the facility
