Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a day shift surgery position requiring an active OH or compact license and at least 3 years of recent OR experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the general Operating Room of a hospital setting
• Full-time day shift options: 7a-7:30p, four 10-hour shifts (7a-5:30p), or five 8-hour days, as determined during the interview
• Rotating on-call schedule includes both weekday and weekend call assignments that mirror staff rotation
• Holiday call rotation may be required if a holiday occurs during the contract period
• Patient caseload may include robotic, neuro, and orthopedic cases
• Uses Epic EMR, and experience is recommended
• Responsibilities include circulating in the OR for various surgical procedures
• Call assignments are shared with the general staff based on current census and staffing
• Flexibility in schedule and call rotation is necessary due to potential fluctuations in staffing or patient volume
• Possible holiday call duties required during the contract period

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 3 years of current or recent Operating Room experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Robotic, neuro, and orthopedic OR experience recommended
• Epic charting experience recommended
