Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Ambulatory Med/Surg Day Care assignment requiring MA licensure and prior travel experience.

Responsibilities

• Position located in a hospital-based ambulatory Medical Day Care unit
• Unit consists of 10 bays and 2 procedure rooms
• Level 3 trauma center environment
• Outpatient services and medical day care procedures are performed
• Day shifts are 8 hours in length
• Every other weekend work is required
• Epic EMR is used and prior Epic experience is required
• Will support outpatient medical day care and a variety of procedures for diverse adult patients
• Hospital orientation provided followed by 2 days of unit-based orientation
• Scrubs may be any color
• Must successfully complete Tele/ECG and medication testing
• National holidays may require coverage based on scheduling needs

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Current BLS certification from AHA required
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience required
• Prior completion of at least 1-2 travel assignments required
• Experience working in an ambulatory or med/surg setting required
• Epic EMR experience required
• COVID-19 vaccine and booster, and seasonal flu vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed)
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius are eligible
• Must not have worked at any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility within the past 6 months
