Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a current VA or compact license and night shift availability for a Critical Care Step Down assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Critical Care Step Down unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15
• Adult patient population with critical care needs
• 13-week contract assignment
• No local candidates accepted; position has a 65-mile radius requirement
• Be prepared to provide care for patients in a critical care step down environment
• No Canadian Social Insurance Numbers accepted
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of start date
• Applicants must live at least 65 miles from the facility

Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent ICU or critical care experience
• American Heart Association certifications are required and must be valid for the entire assignment
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required for consideration
