Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of experience and current ACLS, BLS, and ARRT certification for a day shift contract.

Responsibilities

• Position is in an interventional radiology unit
• Work hours are 7:30am to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday with a rotating day off
• Day shift schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts
• Call requirement includes one primary and one backup weekday per month, plus one weekend every 6 weeks (either primary or backup)
• Siemens imaging equipment is used
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Perform interventional radiology procedures and ensure patient safety and comfort
• Maintain accurate patient documentation, preferably in Epic
• Travelers may be required to complete fingerprinting promptly after booking and follow facility credentialing requirements
• RTO must be disclosed and included in the contract at the time of submission
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Former employees are eligible if they have not worked at the facility in the past 6 months; current employees are not eligible for a travel position

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and ARRT certifications required
• Proficiency in operating Siemens imaging equipment
• Experience with Epic charting preferred
• License required if applicable
• Two professional references from supervisory roles are required, with at least one reference from a manager or director
