Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with cardiology background for an outpatient clinic cardiology position, requiring an active NC or compact RN license and Epic experience.

Responsibilities

Position is in an outpatient cardiology clinic
Patient population consists of adults and geriatrics
Nurse to patient ratio is 1:5
Day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
No weekend or on-call requirements
Epic EMR is used and experience with Epic is required
Bi-weekly orientation sessions provided
Primary responsibilities include providing nursing care to adult and geriatric cardiology patients in an ambulatory outpatient setting
Scrub color is flexible; any color may be worn
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Candidates living within 75 miles are accepted as locals
Modules and orientation are completed during the first week of assignment and annually as needed

Requirements

Active NC or compact RN license in hand
Minimum of 2 years of recent cardiology experience required
Current BLS certification required
Epic EMR experience required
One supervisory reference from within the past year is required for consideration
Flu vaccine required; exemptions or declinations are not accepted
