Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring an active NC or compact license and current BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
Night shift, 12-hour shifts
13-week assignment
Care includes patients with a range of urgent and emergent health needs, including COVID cases
Experience with Epic EMR is preferred
No on-call requirements
Provide professional nursing care to a general emergency room population
Must be clinically competent and able to practice with minimal guidance
Responsible for delivering care according to physician orders and hospital policies
Accountable to the North Carolina Board of Nursing for practice within state regulations

Requirements

Active NC or compact RN license required
Graduation from an approved nursing program
Current certifications: BCLS, ACLS, and PALS
Minimum of 1 year of RN experience
Primary residence must be at least 50 miles from the facility
