Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with outpatient orthopedic experience for an 8-week contract in a therapy clinic setting.

Responsibilities

• Work in an outpatient orthopedic therapy clinic
• 8-hour day shifts
• Expected patient load is 12-14 patients per day with double-booking of follow-up visits
• Typical patient population includes standard outpatient orthopedic cases
• Productivity expectation is 60 visits per week
• No floating to other clinics is required
• No on-call or weekend shifts are required
• Assignment length is 8 weeks
• Main responsibilities include providing physical therapy evaluation and treatment for an outpatient orthopedic population
• Double-booking of follow-up visits is expected as part of daily workflow
• Dress code information not specified
• Assignment accepts local and travel candidates, with local defined as within 50 miles of the clinic

Requirements

• Current PT license required, or license required if applicable
• Outpatient experience preferred
• New graduates and first-time travelers will be considered
• Ability to manage a high patient load and meet productivity goals
