Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring a WY or compact RN license and 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in a hospital Med/Surg unit
• Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
• 13-week contract assignment
• Patient care in a general medical-surgical population
• Required to clock in and out using the electronic timekeeping system
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required based on unit needs
• 50-mile radius rule applies for eligibility; local candidates accepted at a lower rate
• All certifications must be submitted; pending certifications are not accepted
• Dress code and scrub requirements will be provided upon assignment

Requirements

• Active WY or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (must be current and not expire within 30 days of start; RQI and RCIS certifications not accepted)
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Must provide full US SSN and date of birth for consideration
• Cannot be currently working in a permanent role at any location at time of assignment
