Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a travel Medical ICU night shift position requiring a current AR or compact RN license and ICU experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Medical ICU setting within a hospital
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Assignment length is 13 weeks
- Cares for critically ill adult patients in an intensive care environment
- Up to 5 days of requested time off may be allowed but must be made up during the assignment
- Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are eligible with specific contract restrictions
- Blocked scheduling may be allowed based on facility needs if clearly arranged
- Candidates with three consecutive 13-week local contracts must take a year break or transfer to another facility outside the 50-mile radius before returning
Requirements
- Active AR or compact RN license at the time of consideration
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience required
- At least 2 years of overall nursing experience
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- All required certifications must be valid and not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment unless renewal is documented
- Valid U.S. Social Security Number required; Canadian SINs not accepted
