Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg position on a surgical unit, requiring a MD or compact RN license and recent surgical unit Med/Surg experience.

Responsibilities

Work on a hospital-based surgical medical-surgical unit
Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Required to work every other weekend
Holiday coverage required as needed by the unit
No on-call responsibilities
Uses Epic for electronic medical records
Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult surgical patients
Team-oriented environment with support from unit staff
Local candidates are eligible for the same pay rate except where specified by facility
Holiday schedule participation is required

Requirements

Active MD or compact RN license
Current BLS certification required
Minimum of two years of recent Med/Surg experience on a surgical unit
Experience in facilities with 500 or more beds required
Prior Epic EMR experience required
