Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with at least 2 years of recent ICU experience and the required IN or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 7-bed ICU within a hospital setting
• Nurse-to-patient ratios are 2:1 and 1:1
• Performs patient assessments, delivers quality critical care, and evaluates effectiveness of interventions
• Equipment includes Liberty Peritoneal Dialysis Cycler, Meditech EMR, Omnicell, Philips monitor, Alaris IV pumps, and NICOM monitor
• Utilizes Meditech for charting
• 12-hour night shifts with weekend coverage required
• Required to float to all departments, including MedSurg, based on competence
• Must work at least one of the two major holidays: Christmas or New Year's
• Collaborate and coordinate comprehensive patient care
• Professional nurse dress is required
• 8 hours of orientation provided
• No facility call-off policy

Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Current AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
