Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT (MRI) certification to join our imaging team.

Responsibilities

Work in an outpatient imaging setting
MRI department utilizing Siemens Aera and Altera 1.5T latest platform
Adult and general population
8-hour day shifts including Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Saturday and Sunday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday 9:30 AM–6:00 PM
16-week contract assignment
No on-call required
Must be willing to work one major winter holiday (Christmas Day or New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve)
Returning permanent staff seeking traveler roles must have a 2 year break from prior employment
Requested time off must be submitted upfront
Scrub requirements not specified; confirm prior to assignment
First-time travelers will be considered
Team-oriented imaging environment

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years experience in MRI
Active ARRT (MRI) certification required
Current BLS certification required
Experience operating Siemens Aera and Altera MRI systems preferred
License required if applicable
Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
