Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with an active NC license and at least one year of experience for an outpatient rehabilitation clinic.

Responsibilities

• Work in an outpatient rehabilitation clinic setting
• Responsible for evaluating and treating patients in physical therapy and rehabilitation programs
• Schedule is typically 5x8 hour days, with possible alternative scheduling
• Patient population includes individuals requiring mobility, function, and strength improvements
• Electronic Medical Record usage required for documentation and patient care
• Position involves patient evaluation, treatment planning, supervision of assistants and aides, and accurate documentation
• Daily responsibilities include interacting with patients, office staff, and interdisciplinary teams
• Must ensure patient comfort, answer questions, and promote patient privacy and safety
• Participation in company privacy training and compliance is expected
• No travel is required for this position
• Open to local candidates

Requirements

• Active NC Physical Therapist license or eligibility to test for one (license required if applicable)
• Degree in Physical Therapy required
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• Ability to supervise PT Assistants and Aides
• Proficient computer skills including EMR usage, typing, and use of Word and Internet
• Comfort with DX and ICD-10 coding for billing purposes
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds and assist patients with mobility needs
• Must comply with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
