Description

Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a 13-week acute care assignment requiring at least 1 year of experience and ARRT (N) certification.

Responsibilities

Work in a mobile MRI unit serving the Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute within an acute care setting
Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, three shifts per week Monday through Friday from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
Assignment is 13 weeks in length
Unit is newly established with initial setup and operational responsibilities before opening
Uses Epic EMR
Assist with initial setup and launching of a new mobile MRI unit
Role involves independent work with one other MRI Technologist covering alternate schedules
No local candidates permitted—candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
Former WVU employees must have a 2-year break before reapplying as a traveler
Travelers may not work within WVU for longer than one year cumulatively without a mandatory two-year break
Scrub or dress code details will be provided by the facility

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year experience as a MRI Technologist required
BLS (AHA) certification and ARRT (N) certification are required
License required if applicable
Experience with Epic EMR is preferred
