Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a RN for a PACU position requiring a current TX or compact RN license and at least one year of recent PACU experience.
Responsibilities
- Position located in the Recovery Room (PACU) of a hospital
- Shift is 11:00 AM to 10:30 PM
- 13-week contract assignment
- Primarily PACU patient population focusing on post-anesthesia care
- Responsible for providing recovery care to post-surgical patients
- Working environment requires management of post-anesthesia needs
- Candidates must ensure all certifications are valid and not expiring within the first 30 days of assignment
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Minimum one year of recent experience in PACU required
- Current AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

Sebrona was so helpful and quick to respond. She is kind and patient. She was able to get me the job I wanted with excellent pay. After she done her part she continued to check in with me to see how the compliance part was going. I felt comfortable with asking her questions even though it wasn’t the department she worked in. She would reach out to others and get the answer or be sure they contacted me.
