Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department night shift position in Texas, requiring a TX or compact RN license and current CPI or equivalent certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital setting
- Treat a diverse mix of emergency patients across all age groups and acuity levels
- 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care and rapid assessment in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- All credentials must remain active and not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
Requirements
- Active TX or compact state RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of recent emergency department RN experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC required
- Current CPI or equivalent certification (SAMA, MAB, ACPMA, or similar alternatives accepted)
- No employment gaps totaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
