Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position in Oregon requiring current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and at least one year of specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based Labor and Delivery unit
• Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts (3x12 hours), typically 19:00 to 07:30
• Care for laboring mothers, fetal monitoring, and delivery support
• Required to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Use of Epic EMR; training provided if needed
• Float within the site and across the health system as required
• Mandatory education modules must be completed within one week of assignment start
• Refusal to float as requested will result in cancellation of contract
• Scrubs provided for Labor & Delivery staff; otherwise, any color except black and camo permitted
• Low census mandatory cancellation may occur up to one shift per two-week pay period
• Free parking in any unrestricted space
• First-time travelers may be considered

Requirements

• Active Oregon RN license or proof of license application and fingerprints
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP Advanced, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring or Relias Fetal Monitoring
• At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience required, 2 years preferred
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred
• COVID vaccination required; no exemptions accepted
