Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position in Oregon with strong specialty experience and required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a children's hospital
• Night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week (19:00-07:30)
• Expected to float within the site and across the health system as needed
• Assignments are a minimum of 13 weeks, with potential for longer contracts
• Holidays and weekends may be required as needed
• EPIC is the charting system used; training provided
• Labor and delivery scrubs are provided and may be any color except black or camo
• Mandatory completion of Epic charting training if not previously experienced
• Personnel may be subject to mandatory low census cancellation up to one shift per two-week pay period
• Free parking is available in any unrestricted space
• Refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation
• One professional reference is required for consideration

Requirements

• Active Oregon RN license or proof of license application/fingerprint submission required for consideration
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP Advanced, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring or Relais Fetal Monitoring certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of strong Labor & Delivery RN experience; 2 years preferred
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Completion of all assigned education within one week of assignment
• COVID vaccination required; no exemptions accepted
